i saw this idea on pinterest (original source here) and thought it would be fun to do this with hudson, so i made my own design and changed up some of the text.

if anyone else is interested in doing this with their little ones, feel free to download the JPEGS shown here (right-click the image and save linked file), or you can download a PDF with the DAD and GRANDPA design on 1 page here. each card is 5 x 7" and will fit into a standard a7 envelope.

jacqui & dan's wedding

i was stoked when jacqui contacted me to do her wedding invitations & save-the-dates. jacqui is awesome and i knew she'd have some great ideas. she wanted something modern and fun for her save-the-dates, incorporating her wedding colors: gray & mustard, and theme: "kick-ass wedding" (ha ha!).

when we started working on the wedding invitations, we stuck with the color scheme and triangle design, but changed it up a bit with some watercolor effects and a more subtle look overall.

i love how it all turned out and can't wait to see photos from the day. i know jacqui will be a stunning bride and have the "kick-ass wedding" of her dreams!

branding & cards for top knot goods

i met natalie through the wonderful world of instagram (follow me @heatherlmyers, by the way!) and she recently started up a great little shop called top knot goods, where she sells awesome vintage goods at a great price! she contacted me to help make her official with a logo and cards.

natalie wanted to use with kraft paper, black text and a pop of color. i don't think i've ever received a more enthusiastic response to a first draft of a design... or seen so many exclamation points in one email! it made me so happy to hear how excited natalie was.

what's funny is that i initially put "blah blah blah..." at the bottom as filler information until natalie got me the final text. but when she saw it, she loved and said that was totally her personality!

floral & stripe birth announcement

jamie loved payton's birth announcement, so she wanted to do something similar for her beautiful new baby, harmony. we also created an address wrap to match and incorporated a couple verses that are special to the family.

a few months ago, alissa and i started brainstorming about a new t-shirt for her company. she wanted to do a woodland theme, so i used my little fox from this notecard, gave him a body, and then worked together on the typography!
